RTTNews has announced that Taylor will be receiving the Jim Reeves International Award at the 5th Annual ACM Honors. The awards show will take place at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee and will air on Monday, September 19.
Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire and Taylor Swift will all be recipients of Special Awards at this fall’s 5th Annual ACM Honors. The awards show will take place at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
Brooks will receive the Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award, while Reba will take home the Career Achievement Award and Swift the Jim Reeves International Award at the annual event, which celebrates non-televised winners from the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers will also be recipients of the Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award, Hank Cochran will posthumously receive the Poet’s Award and Gwyneth Paltrow’s film, Country Strong, will receive the Tex Ritter Award.
In addition, the Ryman Auditorium will receive Venue of the Year honors. Host, presenters and performers will be announced at a later date. The 5th Annual ACM Honors will air Monday, September 19.
