International superstar Taylor Swift will attend the Canadian Country Music Association awards in Saskatoon next month, after being named the inaugural winner of the CCMA Generation Award.
CCMA organizers created the award this year to “celebrate those who have been propelled beyond the borders of the country music genre onto an international stage.”
Swift’s appearance is a huge coup for the country music community, as her most recent single, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, lingers at the top of the charts.
