What’s up with all of these “outtakes”? Look, I know the song is doing well and all, but it’s not her best, and quite frankly, very childish for someone her age. I know she’s trying to hype this song for her upcoming album, but this is a little much. There’s exposing the single to radio airplay, but then there’s shoving it down people’s throats, in which this song is the latter. Sorry.
Why would it be childish? It’s an alright song and it has a great message. I like the video and these outttakes that we’re getting are funny.
@Martin
When I said “childish”, I meant how the song sounds, how it is sung and the overall lyrical content. “Cause the players gonna play, play, play, play, play
and the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate”…..not exactly quality driven lyrics there if you ask me. Look I understand that this song is directed at her detractors, but come on, there’s no denying that she was desperate for a #1 single with this song…..which is probably why she wanted Shellback and Martin to oversee her entire album…..Pop powerhouse music writers who are most known for composing the most annoying drivel in music history.
First singles are always different and radio-friendly so it catches attention before the album comes out. It’s just business, really.
And the outtakes are for the fans. Real ones.
This is hilarious. I can’t wait for the next one!
