Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” (Big Machine/Universal) has climbed to the summit of Australia’s latest singles chart.
Swift’s new song, which features Kendrick Lamar, opened at No. 3 the previous week but the song made a rare ascent to the pinnacle when the new chart was published on the weekend. It’s her fourth No. 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart and the third single from 1989 to reach the top spot, after “Shake It Off” (September 2014) and “Blank Space” (November 2014).
“Bad Blood,” the video for which earned its world premiere at the Billboard Music Awards, consigned Wiz Khalifa feat. Charlie Puth’s “See You Again” (Atlantic/Warner Music) to second spot on the Aussie singles list. Last week’s No. 1, “You Don’t Own Me” (RCA/Sony) by Grace featuring G-Eazy, is at No. 3.
