Taylor becomes the highest-placed celebrity at eight, up two spots from last year’s (14) poll, after the Shake It Off singer “singlehandedly got Apple to take notice when they totally ignored major corporations” over their initial plans not to compensate artists for streaming their work during Apple Music’s free trial earlier this year (15).
