Best take a seat for this news: Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik have teamed up on “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” a song from the upcoming Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack.
The pop superstars take turns in delivering their lines. “”Baby, baby, I feel crazy/Up all night, all night and every day/Give me something, oh, but you say nothing/What is happening tonight?” Then her collaborator and former One Direction star takes over: “I don’t wanna live forever/’Cause I know I’ll be living in pain.”
“I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” is Swift’s first new release as a vocalist in 2016 and the first taste of her music post-1989. And it’s the first single from the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack, which is due to drop Feb. 10 through Republic Records.
The song was written specifically for the feature film by Swift, Jack Antonoff & Sam Dew and produced by Antonoff.
