I am a 72 year old Vietnam Veteran who lives in Taylor Swifts home area of Reading Pa. I am on a mission to do something special for our front line soldiers fighting the Covid-19 war at both Reading Hospital and St Josephs Hospital. I have started to work closely with the head fundraisers at both hospitals to come up with a plan to honor all the healthcare workers from the doctors, nurses, emergency room workers, maintenance workers and all staff associated with putting their lives on the line to save others. We have come up with the idea to enlist as many veterans as possible and residents to do a drive through procession to both hospitals and tie this into a fund raiser for these healthcare workers. My thought how great would it be to make a difference than to have Taylor Swift fly into Reading Airport where the procession will be waiting and have her ride in the lead Army vehicle to head the procession. I would think it wouldn’t take more than 2-3 hours of her time while in Reading to make this happen. I am not asking for any donations and know this is a huge ask but how wonderful would this be that she take part in her home town event for a once in a lifetime fight to save lives and honor our front line healthcare workers.
Not sure I am at the right venue to contact Taylor. If so great, if not would you be able to provide me an email address so I can communicate my idea to the right person. My name is Jerry Strauss 1608 Alsace Rd Reading Pa 19604. phone # 267-980-0568, email address strauss8@comcast.net. A response one way or the other would be much appreciated. Thank you, Jerry
