Taylor made a surprise announcement sharing that she wrote a new song, “Carolina”, for the film adaptation of “Where the Crawdads Sing”. The song is featured in the newly released trailer that dropped today. The film will hit theaters this July with Taylor’s exclusive song featured in the movie. Taylor shared the news on Instagram and thanked Aaron Dessner for his help with producing it. The book, “Where the Crawdads Sing”, was written by Delia Owens in 2018 frequented the New York Times best-seller list. The film will bring to life the story of Kya, “an abandoned girl who raised herself to adulthood in the dangerous marshlands of North Carolina”. Check back for when the full version of the song drops.
